Or even be mad towards others such as doctors, community, relatives. Anger like that must be dealt with or it can destroy a persons life. To release that type of anger there are suggestions for activities that may help such as running, hiking, and boxing. Survivors of suicide, tend to search for meaning. People need to accept that all questions to life may not be answered and just move on and live your life the best way you can. You cant go through life drooling on things that you cant change now, life is so short and frugal. What you can do is just be present. Live every day to your fullest and dont look back. If you are having problems with mental illnesses or just need a person to talk to, please dont hold back. If you see signs of suicidal thought in someone, help them. The citizens of the United States tremble in fear from every single shooting that occurs at schools, and pretend that it is a common occurrence. People suffering from depression not only create problems for themselves but also for their family members and others who are connected to them. 4. Some individuals lack assertiveness and are not able to deal with their true feelings in a constructive manner. People who are non-assertive are unable to handle their feelings in a constructive manner and thus represent themselves in a very weak form in front of others. As they are unable to stand up for themselves in a positive manner they feel bad when people treat them unfairly and thus feel anxious, hurt and self-contemptuous. This adds to the feeling of already existing anger. In such cases the other persons involved get a feeling of content because of the deficient actions and reactions of the first person. On the hand people who are too assertive display a very aggressive behaviour and present themselves in a too strong manner when they fail to deal with their anger in a constructive manner (Harbin, 2000). In such cases people tend to satisfy their anger by hurting themselves or others either mentally or physically. 5. Behaviour that threatens or causes to physical and emo tional harm to others is referred to as aggressive behaviour (Huesmann, 1994). There are cases when individuals owing to some of their life experiences feel angry and hurt and because of that they make it their goal to hurt others. These acts help in either feeling content or simply defending themselves. This aggressive behaviour helps individuals in satisfying their anger temporarily. The FBI agents discriminated against the Indian boy by coming to the conclusion that because he is Native American the boy must have had something to do with the local gangs, which were thought to be the cause of the robbery. The altercation ended with both agents and the American Indian boy being dead. Unlike in the past individual discrimination in the present day is seen less. In conclusion our modern day efforts to achieve a colorblind society have increased our tolerance but we have yet to say that we live in a truly colorblind society. Individual, institutional, and systemic discrimination still exists in our society and has been a hindrance to the progression of our society to color blindness. Our present day society is not col orblind and I am glad for that. Though race discrimination and distinction may lead to negative consequences, I cannot ignore the greatest positive that comes from it. Different cultures, it is the most unique aspect of America. I think it would put me under a lot of pressure to communicate with those in the emergency situation. Sitting behind a desk and directing things is boring. I like the exhilarating job of being hands on. TOXICOLOGIST Education and Training Start master science courses in middle and high school A bachelors degree in toxicology, biology or chemistry is needed Degree program in toxicology requires 127 credits with a focus on natural sciences and biomedical studies After obtaining a bachelor’s degree, a career path is established to determine whether or not to focus on a specialized area of toxicology in graduate school With a doctoral degree, a toxicologist continues with postdoctoral training Seek board certification from a reputable association like the American Board of Forensic Toxicology, which shows level of experience and competence Courses taken to determine how local environmental substances can affect and metabolize within the human body: Industrial and environmental agent toxicology Methods of toxicology analysis Reaction dynamics in physical chemistry Rules of evidence studies Molecular and cellular biology Forensic Toxicology Specialists can be certified through The American Board of Forensic Toxicology (ABFT) Responsibilities Study both physical and chemical agents that interact with the body Specializes in the examination of tissues, bodily fluids and blood. I didn’t know that they could also examine toxins in animals as well. I found that to be very interesting. I didn’t like that they have to come in contact with harmful chemicals but with the appropriate safety precautions taken, this can be a very fascinating career.
